Walter "Earl" Schott

Walter “Earl” Schott, 82 of Shepherdsville passed away on Saturday April 5, 2025, at Baptist Health Louisville.

Earl was a proud Kentucky Colonel. He retired from DuPont where he worked as a Chief Chemical Engineer for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Judy Schott; parents Walter & Dorothy Schott; brother Wanye Schott; grandson Corey Corum.

Earl is survived by his daughters Carolyn Lancaster and Crystal Stone, both of Shepherdsville; his sister-in-law Kathy Schott; his grandchildren Mac Holbrook, Shelly Holbrook, Steven Stone, and Amber Burris; his great great-grandchildren Gage Stone, Willow Stone, Derrick Holbrook, Immanuel Holbrook, Kaylee Feadughrici, Theo Holbrook and Braydon.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on April 14, 2025, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
