Terri Lee Wise, formerly known as Terri Ford, was born on January 17, 1956, in Louisville, Kentucky. She departed this life on July 27, 2025, in her hometown, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, dedication, and cherished memories.

Throughout her remarkable journey, Terri dedicated 27 years of her career to the finance sector, serving the state government with commitment and diligence. Her professional achievements were paralleled by her devotion to her family, which remained the cornerstone of her existence. Married to Michael "Mooch" Wise for over 48 years, Terri exemplified the meaning of partnership, supporting her husband in every endeavor.

Terri's love for her family was paramount; nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She often expressed her happiness through shared experiences, whether it was a relaxing day spent fishing, enjoying nights at the casino playing her favorite slot machines, or unwinding with a glass of her cherished wine. She had a vivacious spirit, always ready to dance and spread joy wherever she went. Additionally, her skill in sewing was a testament to her creativity and nurture.

Terri was a proud Catholic, her faith guiding her throughout her life. She was the beloved sister of Shonna Cook (Mike), Tracy Wells (Ron), Bentley Moore, and Roger Denkhoff (Teresa), each holding a special place in her heart. As a mother, she was revered as a devoted parent to her son, Kyle Wise, and his wife, Courtney. The family also grieves the loss of her daughter, Kari Nally, along with her brother, Dean Moore, and her beloved mother, Dolly Denkhoff.

Terri's legacy continues through her grandchildren: Karlee Sparkman, Kaylee Nally, Hudson, Harper, and Hayden Wise, and her great-grandchildren, Claire and Noah Sparkman. She leaves behind extended family and an array of close friends who will forever hold her memory dear. The family wishes to express their gratitude with special thanks to family friend Ashley Schneider, along with Karlee and Shonna, who were involved with Terri's daily care over the last 5 years. Their commitment and support meant the world to Terri and her loved ones.

Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate the life of Terri Lee Wise. Her warmth, kindness, and infectious spirit will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Arrangements for her cremation services have been entrusted to Maraman Billings Funeral Home.
