Susan Marie Robey

Susan Marie Robey, 62 of Shepherdsville, passed away December 28, 2019 after a battle with a sudden illness.
She was an avid crafter, gardener, and caretaker that assisted with her family’s business affairs. She was preceded in death by her father Jack Tolhurst, and a dear friend Betty Ann Robey, who would later become her mother-in-law.
Susan is survived by her loving husband Steve Robey of Shepherdsville; her mother Sue Walker Tolhurst of Louisville; her daughter Staci Wedding of Louisville; her brother Raymond Tolhurst of Louisville; her granddaughters Kristen Frost (Eric) and Caitlyn Conway both of Louisville; her great grandson Ian Frost of Louisville, and her beloved Akita Dora “Dodie” who stayed by her side the night she passed.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday January 2, 2020 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Maraman Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8pm, and Thursday 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
