Stanley Joseph Kapso

Stanley J. Kapso, 92, of Shepherdsville, KY passed away in his home May 27, 2025. Stanley was born in Duquesne, PA to Anton and Agnes (Vucetic) Kapso. His brothers, Joseph and William, his sisters Catherine and Dorothy preceded him in death. He is survived by his spouse, Joyce; his son Tony (Sandy); his daughter Gloria Hubbard (James); his four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Stanley was career US Army and fought in the Korean War and Vietnam War where he received a Bronze Star, Purple Heart and Army Commendation Medal. After retiring as 1st Sergeant from 20 years of military service, Stanley worked and also retired from the US Postal Service. Stanley chose cremation. A graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery on June 25th at 11:00 AM. Stanley was an honest, hardworking man who was tough, tenacious and fair. He was always willing to help in any way he could. His family loved and respected him very much and will miss him greatly. Maraman-Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville is handling the arrangements. No flowers, please.
