Shannon Carol Mathery, 43, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on February 19, 2026, surrounded by the people who loved her most. Her passing leaves a deep and painful loss for everyone who knew her.

Shannon was a strong, unforgettable woman who never went unnoticed. She said what she meant, stood her ground, and loved her people harder than anyone. She went through many hardships in life, but she faced them head-on and came out stronger every time. Those experiences shaped her into an incredibly independent and resilient woman. She was fiercely loyal and protective, always there when it mattered most. If she loved you, you knew it—you could feel it in everything she did.

She is survived by her brother, Michael Mathery Jr.; Daughter: Savannah Miller (Jahnelle Francisco); Spouse: Larry House; Aunts: Staci Cox (Ralph Hardin) and Kelley Cox Mattingly. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs, Bebe, Lucy, and Dodge, who brought her so much comfort and companionship.

Shannon’s strength, her love, and the memories she gave will stay with her family and friends forever. She may be gone, but the way she loved and the impact she made will never fade.
