Roger Keith Powers

It is with great sadness that the family of Roger Keith Powers, of Shepherdsville, Ky announces his passing on March 12, 2025. Roger retired from Beechmont Press in 2010 where he worked as a Printing Press Operator. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. In his younger years, he loved to travel and had many fond memories of his time spent in Arizona. He was a super fan of college football, especially the University of Kentucky.

Roger was born in Johnson County, Kentucky on August 8, 1950, to the late Emma J. Reed (Pate) and Monty B. Powers. He is predeceased by his siblings Nancy L. Tackett, Linda L. Powers, Paul W. Powers and Jerry N. Powers. 

He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Betty J. Hatcher, Randall G. Powers and his nieces and nephews. 

A private burial will be held by the family at a later date.
