Robert “Bobby” Wayne Davis, 62 of Louisville passed away Monday, June 24, 2024, at his home with his family by his side.
Bobby was a Baptist by faith. He was very serious and reserved by nature. He was a bit of a perfectionist; he was particular about the placement of items, everything was specifically organized, with a designated location. Bobby spent countless hours working in the garden and tending to the yard, a reflection of his hard work and character. He enjoyed watching Nascar and days spent fishing with his buddy George. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents Winfred and Eunice Davis, along with all of his siblings.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife and best friend of more than 28 years, China Davis; his children Jeremy Starnes (Kasi) of Highview, and Madeline Bermudez (Marcos) of Louisville; his grandchildren Owen Wayne and Macie Rae Starnes; his “adopted” daughter Pauletta Alcantara and her husband Sandro, along with their children Ricky, Christopher, Raely “My Baby Sissy”, and Jacqueline. Bobby welcomed them into his life with open arms and love. He also leaves his best fishing buddy George along with additional family and friends. He had an incredible bond with his beloved dog, Tom Wayne. Tom Wayne was loyal, always near Bobby’s side until the very end. Bobby kept a close-knit circle, his contribution to the family was profound, his absence will be greatly felt.
