Pamilia Taylor

Pamilia Taylor, a beloved member of her community and cherished matriarch of her family, passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on September 6, 1958, in Caneyville, Kentucky, Pamilia’s life was marked by her deep-rooted love for her family, her devotion to her interests, and her vibrant spirit.

Pamilia was known for her enthusiasm for Indian culture, which she embraced with an open heart. Her passion for nature was evident in her love for fishing, farming, and gardening; she often found peace and joy in nurturing her plants and caring for her animals. Most importantly, Pamilia treasured the time spent with her family, creating lasting memories that will forever be etched in their hearts.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Arnold Lee Taylor, Sr., who stood by her side through all of life's seasons. Her legacy also continues through her beloved grandchildren, Nicholas, Makayla, and Lucas Taylor.

Pamilia is survived by her sisters, Gladys Fuqua (Allen) and Ilene Hayse, and her brothers, Tex Hayse (Susan) and Ricky Hayse (Cindy). Also surviving is her brother-in-law, Mike Taylor, along with many nieces and nephews who will carry forward her memory and values.

Preceding her in death were her son, Arnold Lee Taylor, Jr., as well as her parents, Earline and George Hayse. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Rex and Terry Hayse, and her sister, Patricia Boggs.

Pamilia Taylor will be remembered for her kindness, her resilience, and the love she shared so generously with those around her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, guiding them as they navigate the world without her physical presence. She will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered.

Her funeral will be 6:00 p.m. Monday February 23, 2026 at Maraman - Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with cremation to follow. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
