Ottie Wallace "Wally" Copley Iii

Ottie Wallace “Wally” Copley III, 66 of Louisville passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024, at his home with his family by his side.
He was a Baptist by faith. Wally retired from Geek Squad, where he was a forklift operator. A dad of only daughters, Wally was a master of breaking up cat fights, was always there to wipe away the tears, and was a saint when it came to patience, waiting to get in the bathroom, or use the old landline telephone. He adored being a girl dad, he raised strong, confident women who know their self-worth, and have proven to persevere when faced with a challenge. He taught them to fight a good fight. He fought his last battle rallied by their support.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carolyn Davis Copley and Ottie Wallace Copley II; his beloved wife Deborah “Debbie” Charlene Copley, and dear daughter Rebecca “Becky” Charlene Copley. Wally never truly recovered; their absence weighed heavily upon his heart.
Wally is survived by his daughters Susan Copley and Dorothy Copley both of Louisville; his siblings Greg Copley (Cindy) of Brooks, and Duane Copley of Oregon; his grandchildren Jack, Madison, Hali, and Scotty Jr. Dunagan all of Louisville; along with additional family members and friends.
Funeral Service will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. til time of service.
