Mary J. Woerner

Mary J. Woerner, 86 of Louisville passed away at U of L Mary and Elizabeth Hospital on June 10, 2021.
Originally from Green County, Kentucky, Mary was a Baptist by faith and a member of Parkview Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifteen years Buck Jones; her parents John E. and Nellie Mae Bloyd; her brother J. E. Bloyd.
Mary is survived by her children William R. Carter Jr, Tina M. Carter, and Edwin E. Carter; her sisters Florence M. Roby and Frances M. Benningfield (Billy); along with two grandchildren and many extended family members on the Bloyd side.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 14, 2021, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Burial will follow at the Bell Family Cemetery in Green County, Kentucky.
