Margaret Oleta Sears

 Margaret Oleta Sears, 91, of Shepherdsville passed away under hospice care on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Hallmark Assisted Living in Palm Springs, California.

 Oleta was devoted in her faith; she was a member of Davidson Memorial United Methodist Church. She worked as a clerk at a local grocery store, but her focus was her role of a loving wife and mother. 

 She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Clayton Sears, parents Hazel & Runie Coe, siblings Beatrice Coe, Irwin Shipper and Dorothy Coe Shipper. 

Oleta is survived by her son Chris Sears (Michael Polk) of Palm Springs, CA; her brother Virgil Coe; along with several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends

 Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. 

 Visitations will be on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
