Lloyd Hugo Maraman

Lloyd Hugo Maraman born February 1, 1937 in Shepherdsville Kentucky passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on February 25, 2025. He was a husband, devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather whose presence will be deeply missed. 

Lloyd was a retired boilermaker and welder for CSX Railroad. In addition to his work he was a hard working tobacco farmer maintaining the traditions of the land he loved. 

Lloyd is survived by his wife Wyota Bleemel Maraman, his sons David Maraman and Danny Maraman; his daughter, Wava Ratliff, and her husband Ed; his brother Leonard Maraman; as well as seven grandchildren and six-great grandchildren who cherished their time spent with him. 

Lloyd is proceeded in death by his daughter in law, Jane Maraman; his siblings, Olliebelle Bennett and Barbara Allen; and his parents, Hugo Maraman and Hazel Beatrice Shelton. 

A graveside service will be held at 3pm on March 2, 2025 at the Outskirts of Heaven-Maraman Family Cemetery located at 587 Maraman Lane, Shepherdsville, KY 40165. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and honor the life of a remarkable man who touched so many lives.
