Kimberly Robin Carney

Kimberly Robin Carney, formerly known as Kimberly Goff, was born on October 24, 1969, in Louisville, Kentucky. She passed away on October 20, 2025, at the University of Louisville Hospital, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family.

Kimberly dedicated many years of her life to being a housewife, embracing the joys and challenges that came with raising her children. Her nurturing spirit led her to become a caregiver, where she continued to touch lives with her compassion and kindness.

As a mother, Kimberly cherished every moment spent with her children, Andy, Shaun, and Heather, who brought her immeasurable joy. She took great pride in being a grandmother to Cameron Carney, Hadi Carney, Harlan Carney, Bella Donaldson, Jaden Donaldson, and Shaun Prewitt, always ready to offer her love and support. Her deep affection for her family was evident in all that she did, and her presence will be profoundly missed.

Kimberly is survived by her son, Andy Carney and his wife Jodi; her daughter, Heather Donaldson and her significant other Chris Prewitt; her brothers, Danny Goff and his wife Kim, Steve Goff and his wife Jewel, Rick Goff and his wife Stacey, and JR Goff and his wife Holly; her sister, Nancy Ashby; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, family members, and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Goff; her mother, Edith Keown Goff; and her beloved son, Shaun Carney.

A memorial gathering will be held on October 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, located at 605 South Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering and celebrating the life of Kimberly Robin Carney, a remarkable woman whose legacy will live on through her beloved family.

Kimberly Robin Carney will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering love for her family, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her memory will be forever cherished.
