Judy Carolyn Crump (Edmonds), born November 21, 1949, in Clermont, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on May 22, 2026. Judy lived a life rich with love, laughter, and heartfelt devotion, leaving behind a legacy that will forever resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.
Judy’s journey was marked by dedication and warmth. She began her career at Publisher's Printing, where she contributed her talents before embracing the calling of homemaking. As a devoted homemaker, Judy lovingly cared for her home and raised her cherished children, nurturing a family life filled with joy and togetherness.
Her happiest moments were those spent amidst family—searching for hidden treasures at yard sales, sharing a spirited game of bingo, and basking in the laughter and energy of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Judy’s affection extended beyond her immediate family to include her children, nieces, nephews, and all those whose lives were touched by her kindness. She delighted in butterflies, cardinals, and gardening, and was an avid supporter of her beloved Louisville Cardinals, always wearing her team spirit with pride.
Judy will forever be remembered for the warmth of her laughter, her quick wit, and the joy she brought to every room she entered. A devoted Baptist, her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, providing solace and strength. Though her passing leaves an aching void, comfort comes in knowing she is now reunited in Heaven with the love of her life, her husband Jerry Crump, and embraced by the presence of God.
She is survived by her devoted children Kimberly Perkins and her husband Tom, Kevin Bryant, Jerry “Lee” Crump, Jessica Myers and her husband Jameson; her beloved sister Tamara Gail “Tammy,” and Dora Lynn “Dodie” Edmonds; along with her treasured grandchildren Brandon, Brianna, Madison, Dylan, Ethan, and her great-grandchildren Bryson and Callianna. Their lives are forever enriched by her love, humor, and spirit.
Judy joins in eternal rest her husband Jerry Crump; her parents James Delbert Edmonds and Juanita Earl Shelton Edmonds; and her siblings Delbert Ray Edmonds, Ruth Jeanette “Janet” Hodge, Linda Darnell “Linky” Fox, and Sharon Rose Tackett.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Judy’s life during visitation at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, located at 605 South Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165, on June 2, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and continuing on June 3, 2026, from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Her funeral service will be held immediately following at 12:00 PM the same day at the funeral home, with burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 187 Deatsville Road, Shepherdsville, KY, beginning at 1:30 PM.
Though our hearts are heavy, Judy Carolyn Crump’s enduring love and radiant spirit will remain with us always, reminding us to cherish life’s simple pleasures and to hold our loved ones close. Her memory is a treasure more precious than any found in a yard sale—forever a source of comfort, joy, and inspiration.
