Juan Manuel Castillo Leon, of Shepherdsville a dedicated and cherished member of his community, passed away on June 16, 2026, in Columbia, Kentucky. Born on July 29, 1972, Juan Manuel devoted much of his life to his work with Lanham Insulation, where he was respected for his commitment and skill.
Juan Manuel's legacy extends beyond his professional accomplishments. He was a loving husband to his wife, Irene Chavez Martinez, whose partnership was a cornerstone of his life. Together, they built a family that stood as a testament to his strength and affection.
He was a proud father to his children: Lizbeth Castillo, Adrian Castillo, Uriel Castillo, and Juan Alfredo Castillo. In addition to his biological children, Juan Manuel embraced his step-children—Arturo Dominguez, Marco Antonio Dominguez, Victor Dominguez, Maria Isabel Dominguez, and Jose De Jesus—who added to the richness of his family life.
Juan Manuel was also a brother to Yolanda Castillo, Leticia Castillo, and Francisca Castillo, and he found camaraderie and support through his brothers, Efrain Castillo and Jose Guadalupe Castillo. His familial bonds were further extended by his 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his memory and spirit through generations.
Juan Manuel Castillo Leon will be remembered for his dedication to his work, the deep love he held for his family, and his enduring presence in the lives of those who knew him. His passing marks the end of a significant chapter for all who were fortunate to share in his journey.
He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, familial dedication, and an unyielding commitment to those he loved. His memory will forever be cherished by his surviving family members and all who had the privilege to know him.
His visitation will be Tuesday June 23, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Maraman-Billings Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
