Jennettia Ruth Crigler, age 91, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at Glen Ridge Health Campus surrounded by her loving family.
Jennettia was a dedicated member of the Bullitt County Homemakers and Maryville Baptist Church. She cherished time spent fishing with her husband and held a deep love and adoration for her grandchildren. A native of Edmonson County, Kentucky, Jennettia’s life was marked by her devotion to family and community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Crigler; her parents, Ben and Norma Bullock Lamar; her son, Michael Martin; a grandson, Matthew Crigler; a great-granddaughter, Sarah Thurman; and her siblings, Travis Lamar, Linda Wells, and Doug Lamar.
Jennettia is lovingly remembered by her children Carolyn Yvonne Thurman of Elizabethtown, KY; Patrick Alan Martin and his wife Debbie of Bee Springs, KY; James Edward Crigler and his wife Joyce of Shepherdsville; Donald Ray Crigler and his wife Judy of Shepherdsville; and Veronica Florence Brown and her husband Jimmy of Upton, KY. She is also survived by her siblings Fred Lamar of Louisville; Patricia Marsh of Bee Springs; Randy Lamar of Bowling Green; Brenda Lamar of Louisville; and Don Lamar of Bee Springs, KY, along with fourteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service to honor Jennettia’s life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, with Bro. Jack Roberts officiating. Burial will follow immediately afterward at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington.
Visitation will take place at Maraman Billings Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m., and again on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
