James Edward Apple Sr.

James Edward Apple, Sr. 66 of Shepherdsville passed away at his home Tuesday, September 5, 2017 with his wife by his side.
He was a member of Vine Hill Baptist Church and a retired Deputy with the Wilson County Sheriff Department in Tennessee.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Edward and Lena Apple; along with sisters Alice Fay Godwin and Linda Fisher.
James is survived by his wife Pamela J. Apple; his children Eddie Apple (Tammy) of Vine Grove KY, David Apple of Lebanon TN, Barbie Janik (Steve) of Taylorsville, Tina Hawkins (Mark) of Shepherdsville and Brandi Rice (Jeremy) of Bardstown; his siblings Charles West of Nashville TN, Mary Ruth Helton of Tennessee and Barbara Aulder; his grandchildren Katie Apple, Jordan Hawkins, Devin Shaw, Madison Hawkins, Jaydan Hawkins and 1 great grandchild; along with many other family members and friends.
Funeral Service will be Saturday 11:00 a.m. at Vine Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Greg Crenshaw officiating. Burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery
Visitations will be Friday 2-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
