J.W. Simmons

J.W. Simmons 59, of Shepherdsville passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017.
He was a retired employee for Metro Public Works after 28 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Dorothy Simmons; his children David Rummage and Lilly Ann Simmons.
J.W. is survived by his wife Lisa Simmons of Shepherdsville, KY; his children Mark Simmons, Danielle Leach (Chris), Shawnelle Simmons (Rob), James McAllister, Melissa Rummage (Jonathan), Jacob Simmons and Savannah Rummage all of Shepherdsville; his siblings Gene Simmons of Shepherdsville, David Simmons of Lebanon Jct., Patricia Simmons, Helen Sparks and Sue Ray all of Shepherdsville; along with 14 grandchildren.
Cremation has been chosen by the family with a memorial gathering at a later date.
