Greg Bryan Yates

Greg Bryan Yates, 49, passed away on September 16, 2026. Born on June 11, 1977, Greg will be remembered with love by those who knew him and by the family who held him close throughout his life.

Greg served in cyber security and IT for the Marines and the Army, achieving the rank of E7. His military service reflected dedication, skill, and commitment, and it remained an important part of his life and legacy.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Yates; his mother, Phyllis Oller; his daughter, Allison Yates; and his stepdaughters, Marion Peters, Haylee Peters, and Jayla Yates. He is also survived by his twin brother, Craig Yates and his wife, Lauren; his sister, Angela Hardin and her husband, Doug; his sister-in-law, Paula Meece and her husband, Joe, his nieces and nephews Daisy, Cole, Caylee, Kenton, and many others who he liked to call his "herd." Together, they carry forward the memory of Greg with affection and gratitude, treasuring the place he held in their lives and in their family.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Bill Oller.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, 605 Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, Kentucky 40165. A funeral service will follow at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Vern Hubber.
