Giselle Mena Gonzalez, born on October 18, 1977, in Santiago, Cuba, passed away on March 25, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a cherished daughter, sister, and beloved member of her family whose presence touched all who knew her.

Giselle’s journey began in the vibrant city of Santiago, where she was born to Alfredo Mena Martinez and Yolanda Gonzalez Garcia, who remain devotedly by her side in life. She shared a close and loving bond with her brothers, Alfredo Mena Gonzalez and Eddy Mena Gonzalez, who carry forward her memory with great affection. Giselle was also a treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews, whose lives she graced with kindness and warmth.

Throughout her years, Giselle was known for her grace, resilience, and compassionate spirit. Her loving nature and steadfast commitment to her family have left an indelible impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her. She faced life with strength and dignity, valuing the connections she made and the love she nurtured.

As her family and friends remember Giselle Mena Gonzalez, they honor a remarkable woman whose legacy will endure through the hearts she touched. She will be deeply missed yet forever remembered with profound respect and love.

Cremation was chosen, her memorial service will be 6:00 p.m.  Tuesday March 31, 2026 at Maraman-Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.
