Gerald "Jerry" Edward Thompson 71 of Mt. Washington passed away on Wednesday April 3, 2013 at Jewish Hospital South.
Jerry was a member of the Bullitt County Sportsman Club and was a graduate of the University of Louisville where he received a bachelors degree.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Dorothy Thompson.
He is survived by his life partner Paula Lipscomb of Mt. Washington; his children Jennifer (Jeff) Howerton of Beaverton OR; his brother Kenny (Carole) Thompson of Louisville; along with his grandchildren Sarah, Megan and Alex Howerton.
