Gerald Edwin Owens

Gerald Edwin Owens, born April 30, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky, passed peacefully on May 8, 2026, in Glasgow, Kentucky. Mr. Owens will be remembered with deep respect and admiration by all who knew him.

A member of the Evangel Christian Life Center in Shepherdsville, Gerald embraced his faith with a sincere heart throughout his life. His commitment to his spiritual community reflected the kindness and strength that characterized his every action.

Gerald is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Mary Owens of Shepherdsville, who cherished him deeply. The bond they shared was a source of great comfort and joy to both, and she remains steadfast in the love and memories they created together.

His funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday May 13,2026 at Maraman-Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with burial to follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday May 12, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m..
