Florence Mae Roby

Florence Mae Roby, 89 of Bullitt County, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021, at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, KY.
Florence was a spunky red head who loved her bazooka bubble gum. She was a hard worker, a wonderful cook, and her thoughtful and caring side showed through until the end when the only thing she wanted was her family, polar pops and Cheetos. She was a fantastic mom and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents John and Nellie Bloyd; her brother J.E. Bloyd and her sister Mary Woerner.
Florence is survived by her only son James Roby; her grandchildren Dustin James Roby, Nicholas Cole Roby (Irina), and Travis Ford Roby (Kristen); her great-grandchildren Emma and Alina Roby; her sister Frances Benningfield; along with many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, November 28, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral home in Shepherdsville.
Visitations will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Sunday.
Burial will be held on Monday, November 29th at 11:30 a.m. at Bell Family Cemetery in Green County, KY.
