Flora Louise Curtsinger

Flora Louise Curtsinger (Henderson), age 82, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away on January 11, 2026. She was born on October 3, 1943, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Flora was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and woman of faith. She shared 55 loving years of marriage with her husband, Jerry Curtsinger, building a life centered on family and faith.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry; her children, Sandy Harmon, Joni Forrest, Dennis Geary, Timmy Geary, Lisa Pack, and Tiffany Lucas; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom were a constant source of joy and pride in her life.

She is also survived by her siblings, Eleanor Meagher, Jody Henderson, and Pete Henderson; and her sister-in-law, Carol Henderson.

Flora will be remembered for her unwavering love for God and her deep devotion to her family, especially babies. Her faith guided her daily life, and she lived with kindness, patience, and compassion.

Her favorite Bible verse reflected her outlook on life and her enduring faith:

“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”

— Psalm 118:24

Flora’s legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to live on through the many generations she nurtured and cherished.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, located at 605 Preston Highway, Shepherdsville, Kentucky 40165. The funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m. the same evening at the funeral home.
