Ellis Robert Spurgeon 74, of Shepherdsville passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at his home.
He was a Baptist by faith
He was proceeded in death by his parents Powell and Elizabeth Spurgeon. Ellis is survived by his children; Denise McConville (Jay) of Shepherdsville, Cheryl Spurgeon of Charlestown, SC., Theresa Risen of Louisville; his siblings Powell Spurgeon of Campbellsburg, Ben Spurgeon of Louisville, Sue Stotts of Louisville; his grandchildren Crystal Adkins, Patricia Konfrst, Douglas Church, Jr., Christine Risen, Danny Risen, Virginia Church, Ruby Risen and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be Monday 1:00 p.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Compton officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
