It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Doris June Sidebottom, born Doris June Farmer on June 17, 1940, in Ohio County, Kentucky. Doris left this world on June 13, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin Hospital, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, and love.

Doris was a remarkable woman whose heart was devoted to caring for others. As the owner and operator of a caregiving service, she touched the lives of many people in need, providing comfort and support when it mattered most. Her selfless work was a testament to her character—a woman who truly lived to make a difference in the lives of those around her.

She had a gentle spirit and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Doris loved sitting outside, quietly observing the world and the people passing by, finding stories and beauty in their everyday motions. This quiet contemplation reflected her thoughtful nature, always keenly aware and empathetic to the lives unfolding around her.

Family was the center of her universe. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, finding immense happiness in their laughter and milestones. Doris's love for them was boundless, and they were a source of endless pride and joy.

A devoted member of the Faith Assembly of God in Lebanon Junction, Doris’s faith was a cornerstone in her life, offering her strength and peace. Her spiritual community was dear to her heart, and she found comfort in the fellowship and worship she shared with others.

She is survived by her beloved sons, Donald "Lee" Stearman and Charles Stearman, both of Lebanon Junction, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who carry forward her spirit and warmth. Their bond with Doris was deep and enduring, a reflection of the nurturing and steadfast love she gave unconditionally.

Doris was preceded in death by her husbands—James Stearman, Jack Cundiff, and Kenneth Sidebottom—who shared chapters of her journey through life. She also mourned the loss of her dear father, Jess Farmer; her mother, Floetta Farmer; her sister, Linda Laverne Johnson; and her brothers, John Farmer and Vernon Ed Farmer.

Through all the seasons of her life, Doris June Sidebottom remained a beacon of kindness and dedication, a woman who found beauty in every day and solace in family and faith. She leaves behind a world made gentler by her kindness and a family held together by the love she so freely gave.

Though our hearts are heavy with her loss, we remember Doris with gratitude and tenderness, knowing that her spirit will forever watch over and inspire all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
