Daniel "Danny" James Anderson II, born on April 26, 1979, in Louisville, KY, passed away on November 23, 2025, at UofL South Hospital. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and hard work as a self-employed handyman who touched the lives of many through his craft and generosity.
Danny was known for his unwavering support, particularly to his beloved wife, Melody Anderson. For over a decade, their relationship blossomed from a foundation of friendship built on trust, into a partnership marked by mutual respect and love. In her heartfelt reflections, Melody expresses deep gratitude for Danny's presence in her life, acknowledging the struggles he faced but highlighting his steadfast devotion through even the darkest times.
A man of many passions, Danny had a profound appreciation for the outdoors, particularly enjoying fishing and spending time with horses. His enthusiasm did not stop there; he was forever busy, always working on projects that showcased his skills and creativity. He shared a great sense of humor and was loved by many for his warm spirit and approachable nature. Danny also held a fondness for Dodge trucks, taking pride in keeping them clean and chromed out. As a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he passionately supported his team and celebrated the joy of sports with those around him. Danny had a personal relationship with God; he was proud of his baptism at Third Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville.
Danny cherished his role as a father and grandfather. He took great pride in his children: Ashley Boston, Daniel Anderson III, Riley Anderson, and Jessie Anderson, as well as his grandchildren, Autumn, Caiden, and Draven. His bonds with his family were not just defined by blood but strengthened through love and shared experiences. He also held dear his parents Dottie and Ren Evans, along with his siblings, Jay Anderson, Billy Anderson, and Marie Boone, whose relationships enriched his life.
In addition to his family, Danny will be dearly missed by his lifelong buddies, Tim and Ross Graves, who shared many memories and adventures with him.
Danny is welcomed by his niece Kristina Anderson, who preceded him death.
Danny’s spirit and memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. A funeral service will be held in his honor at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, located at 605 South Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165, on December 1, 2025. The service will begin at 2:00 PM, concluding at 3:00 PM.
Visitation will take place Monday, December 1, 2025, from 10:30 AM until time of service
Danny Anderson's life may have come to an end, but his legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will continue to resonate in the lives of all he touched.
