Bradley Everett Mattingly, a dedicated husband, father son, and brother, passed away on November 8, 2025, at Baptist Health Hardin. Born on March 11, 1979, in Louisville, Kentucky, he lived a life characterized by love, hard work, and a passion for the things he cherished most.
For over 22 years, Bradley was a proud self-employed painter, known for his skill and the pride he took in his business. His creative talents extended beyond his profession; he loved cooking and had an adventurous palate. He generously shared his culinary skills and gravy recipe with his beloved wife, teaching her the recipes that brought warmth and flavor to their family meals.
Bradley was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including fishing from the bank, camping, and enjoying the great outdoors. He had a deep appreciation for being on the water and cherished the moments spent in nature. His love for music was broad, and he embraced all genres, often taking on the role of his wife’s personal DJ, sharing with her the tunes that resonated in his heart.
A devoted fan of sports, Bradley closely followed the University of Kentucky basketball and the Dallas Cowboys, embodying the spirit of enthusiasm and loyalty that defines true fandom. He had an endearing personality, described as a champion of napping, he often dozed off, catching a quick catnap, a testament to his relaxed approach to life.
Bradley’s faith as a Baptist by conviction guided him in his interactions with others, instilling a sense of compassion and support for those in his life. He was a loving father to his children—Casey Mattingly, Nathan Martinez, Sophia Bogard, Cain Mattingly, Paisley Bogard, and Cayden "Little Man" Mattingly—who will carry forward his values of love and resilience.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Stephanie Bogard, as well as his parents, Pamela and Thomas Williams, and his brother Garett Mattingly and his wife, Scarlet. Bradley's legacy will endure through his family, who remain united in their love and remembrance of him.
Bradley Everett Mattingly leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories, and his presence will surely be missed by all who knew him.
