He worked as a salesman for Storybrook, where he sold modular homes, and he also served as a manufacturing representative for Warp Brothers in Chicago for 30 years. He was known as someone who connected easily with others, bringing warmth and personality wherever he went.

William enjoyed a full and lively life shaped by the things he loved most. He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed hunting and fishing. A gifted storyteller, he delighted those around him with great jokes and was often the life of the party. Music held a special place in his life. He had a deep interest in music, enjoyed country music, and played several instruments, including the banjo, organ, and guitar. His joyful spirit and love of sharing stories, laughter, and music will be remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Lori Walls, and her spouse, Kenny; along with his grandchildren Allyssa, Melody, Kandace and Aubrey; and a host of extended family members. May his memory bring comfort to his family and all who were fortunate enough to share in his laughter, stories, and friendship. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lilly Denson.

A private burial will take place at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218.
