Annette Louise Lyvers, born on July 22, 1965, passed peacefully at her home on June 10, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. A dedicated and loving figure in her family, Annette will be remembered for her strong devotion and unwavering support of those she cherished.
Retiring from Rev-a-Shelf after more than 25 years, Annette embodied a spirit of hard work and commitment that inspired all who knew her. Beyond her career, she found great joy in her family, which she considered her greatest contribution. Annette was immensely proud of her son, Michael Pilkerton, and delighted in watching her grandson, Micca, learn and grow.
Animals held a special place in Annette's heart; she lovingly cared for her dogs, Jackson, Slick, and Oreo, and her cats, Tom Cat, Betty, and Peaches. Her vibrant personality shone through in her love for gardening, relishing the beauty of nature’s flowers, and her penchant for staying updated with the latest gossip. Whether sipping on a warm cup of coffee or enjoying an ice-cold beer, Annette approached life with a warm spirit and infectious enthusiasm.
Faced with the loss of her partner and best friend, Lester Pilkerton, after more than 38 years together, Annette's heart was heavy, yet her resilience and love for her family remained unwavering.
Annette's legacy will live on through her surviving family members, including her son Michael Pilkerton and his significant other, Erica; her siblings, Janice Wiseman, Wayne Lyvers, and Sandra Holloway; sister-in-law, Shelly Pilkerton; her beloved grandson, Micca Pilkerton; along with nieces and nephews: Alyssa Pilkerton (Isaac), Aaliyah Byrd, Samantha Holloway, Josh Holloway (Heather), Tabitha & Anna Wiseman, Craig Allen, and Darrell Gaskins.
She joins her parents, Harold and Mary Lyvers, her significant other Lester Pilkerton, and siblings Sharon Gaskins and Pat Lyvers, as well as her nephew Daniel Gaskins, in eternal rest.
A visitation will be held at Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville, KY, on June 20, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Annette will be laid to rest at Cedar Grove Cemetery that same day.
