Amanda Carol Miller, born on October 11, 1978, in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, in Bonnieville, Kentucky. She was a remarkable woman whose life was defined by her outgoing spirit and love for adventure. Amanda’s vibrant personality touched the lives of all who knew her, and she will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend.
Amanda embraced life with enthusiasm, always seeking new experiences and finding joy in every moment. Her boundless affection extended to everyone around her, and her warm heart made her a cherished presence in the lives of family and friends alike.
She is survived by her beloved sons, Damon and Ethan Carlson, who carry forward her legacy of kindness and strength. Amanda was a devoted mother and grandmother, with her granddaughters Olivia Whitehead-Carlson and Freya Carlson bringing great joy to her life. Her family circle also includes her father, William Lunsford, Sr., and her sisters, Paula Lunsford and Laura Moore, as well as her brother, William "Billy" Lunsford, Jr., and his wife Samantha. Amanda’s lifelong friendships were treasured; she shared an unbreakable bond with Victoria Apps and Mary Willis, who stood by her side through the years.
Amanda experienced profound losses, including the passing of her son, Jackson Carlson, her mother, Theresa Lunsford, and her brother-in-law, Delwone Moore. These losses were felt deeply, yet Amanda’s strength and love endured, inspiring those around her to cherish every connection.
Her journey began in Louisville and concluded in Bonnieville, both places holding special significance in her story. Amanda Carol Miller’s memory will live on through the love she gave so freely and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of her family and friends.
She will be remembered with heartfelt gratitude, respect, and admiration for a life lived fully and generously. Amanda’s spirit of adventure and her unwavering love remain a beacon of light to those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Cremation was chosen, there will be no visitation or service. Maraman-Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville was entrusted with the final arrangements.
