Adalyisa Ramirez Martinez

Adalyisa Ramirez Martinez, a beloved housewife and cherished member of her family, passed away peacefully at home on July 18, 2025, at the age of 95, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on April 13, 1930, in Las Tunas, Cuba, Adalyisa embodied grace and resilience throughout her life, qualities that endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Adalyisa was known for her loving and devoted nature, along with an unparalleled bravery that guided her through both challenges and triumphs. Her adaptability shone brightly as she navigated the complexities of life, leading her family with dignity and compassion. She will be fondly remembered for her warm spirit and nurturing demeanor, creating a home filled with love and laughter.

Her family continues to honor her legacy, including her children Lourdes Juan Ramirez, married to Hugo Sanchez, and Roberto Juan Ramirez, married to Gloria Polanco. She was also a proud grandmother to Hugo Sanchez Juan and Ada Sanchez Juan, who brought her immense joy and fulfillment. Additional members of her family who cherish her memory include her siblings: Raquel Ramirez Martinez, Santa Ramirez Martinez, and Miriam Ramirez Martinez.

Adalyisa is preceded in death by, Roberto Juan Polanco, whose memory remains close to their hearts.

A visitation will be held on July 24, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service officiated by Pastor Theresa Olea from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, both at the Iglesia Centro Mundial de Oracion, where she was a member. The church is located at 6800 Shepherdsville Road, Louisville, KY 40228.
