Mildred Madge Hembree

January 8, 1922 - July 29, 2021

Mildred Madge Hembree, 99, of Brooks passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 29, 2021. Mildred was a native of Mulberry, Arkansas. She was a Christian by faith and a member of the Church of Christ. Mildred was a homemaker, managing her household with love and patience. She was a devoted and loving wife, a doting mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Oscar Orville Hembree; her parents Grant and Fay Taft Casey; along with 8 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son Jerry R. Hembree and his wife Patricia of Shepherdsville; a sister June Magby of Mulberry, Arkansas; her grandchildren Ronald Chris Hembree, Jerry Shane Hembree and Casey Garland; great grandchildren April, Christopher, Allen and Cassie; step grandchildren Angie and Billy Walls; step great-grandchildren Amanda, Tabitha, and Kimberly; along with several great-great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 2, 2021, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Bro. Van Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Holly Cemetery. Visitation will take place Sunday 2-8 p.m. and Monday 9 a.m. until time of service. Online condolences may be made at maramanbillings.com
